Thread lifts
Lift sagging skin naturally with advanced non-surgical thread lifting treatments
Thread lifting is a non-surgical facial lifting procedure designed to improve skin laxity with minimal downtime and natural-looking results. Different types of threads such as Silhouette Soft, COG threads, and Aptos threads can be used depending on the patient’s needs and treatment goals.
These threads are placed in deeper layers of the skin and can interact with supportive facial ligaments to create lifting and tightening effects while also stimulating collagen production. Thread lifting is an office-based procedure performed under local anesthesia, making it a convenient option for patients seeking facial rejuvenation without surgery.
One of the main advantages of thread lifting is the short recovery time, allowing most patients to return to normal daily activities quickly while achieving a fresher and more lifted appearance.

Pre & Post Care Instructions for Thread Lift Procedures
Before the Procedure
To help reduce the risk of bruising, swelling, and complications, patients are usually advised to avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Omega-3, and alcohol for several days before the procedure unless medically necessary and approved by their physician.
It is recommended to wash the hair and take a shower the day before the treatment, since excessive washing and manipulation should be minimized during the first few days after thread placement. Patients should also arrive with clean skin and without heavy makeup whenever possible.
After the Procedure
For approximately 3–4 weeks after thread lifting, proper care is important to support tissue healing and maintain the lifting results.
Patients are advised to:
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and excessive heat exposure
- Avoid dental procedures and prolonged mouth opening if possible
- Sleep on their back and avoid putting pressure on the face
- Avoid facial massage, aggressive skincare treatments, or rubbing the treated area
- Avoid biting hard foods, chewing gum excessively, or exaggerated facial movements
- Minimize excessive laughing or strong facial expressions during early healing
- Avoid alcohol and smoking as much as possible during the healing phase
- Follow all prescribed aftercare instructions and attend follow-up visits if needed
Mild swelling, tenderness, tightness, dimpling, or bruising can occur temporarily after the procedure and usually improve gradually during the healing process.
